This May I was in Vienna and I took my camera with me whenever it was possible to take photos of the plants and animals in the numerous parks of this beautiful city. I tried to concentrate on little-known apsects of common plants. Location: Vienna. Date: 05.2012.

In diesem Mai war ich in Wien und wenn es möglich war, habe mein Kamera immer mit mir gehabt, um Fotos von den Pflänzen und Tieren der vielen Parks im nördlichen Teil dieser schönen Stadt zu machen. Wild roses have an enormous number of species, transient species, subspecies, hybrids and variations in Europe. I think I could identify 2 specimens I have found along the Danube Canal. This one is the Dog Rose (Rosa canina):
