We visited the Kácsa-Island in June 2011, a remnant of the floodplain of the River Tisza, near the town Tiszacsege. This protected area is managed by the Hortobágy National Park and its flora and fauna represent how much of the Hungarian Plain looked like before its great rivers were controlled. The small 'island' is enclosed by the river and its oxbow. Location: Tiszacsege. Date: 17.06.2011.
Wir haben im Juni 2011 die Kácsa-Insel, ein Relikt der Überschwemmungsebene der Theiß neben die Stadt Tiszacsege besucht. Dieses geschützte Gebiet gehört zum Nationalpark Hortobágy und seine Flora und Fauna darstellt wie der Großteil der Ungarischen Tiefebene vor der Flussregulierung aussah. Die kleine 'Insel' ist von der Theiß und einem Altarm umgeschlossen. Ort: Tiszacsege. Datum: 17.06.2011.
2011 júniusában felkerestük a Kácsa-szigetet, a Tisza árterének egyik maradványát Tiszacsege mellett. Ez a védett terület a Hortobágyi Nemzeti Parkhoz tartozik és növény- és állatvilága a Magyar Alföld folyószabályozás előtti állapotát reprezentálja. A kis 'szigetet' a folyó és egy holtág fogja közre. Hely: Tiszacsege. Dátum: 2011.06.17.

The caterpillar of the Gypsy Moth (Lymantria dispar dispar) was found on the bark of a tree. This is a very common moth and also a very serious pest worldwide. I usually do not take photos of this species but now I made some close shots of the prolegs, which look quite interesting:
Die Raupe der Schwammspinner (Lymantria dispar dispar) wurde auf Baumrinde gefunden. Diese Art ist sehr häufig und auch eine Schädling weltweit. Normalerweisemache ich keine Fotos über diese Art aber jetzt habe ich einige über die Bauchbeine gemacht, die ziemlich interessant aussehen:
A gyapjaslepke (Lymantria dispar dispar) hernyóját egy fa törzsén találtam. Ez egy nagyon gyakori éjjeli lepke és egyben veszélyes kártevő is világszerte. Általában nem szoktam fotókat készíteni erről a fajról, de most csináltam pár közeli képet az állábairól, amelyek egész érdekesen néznek ki:
